2020 Favorites

I know I’ve only done one favorite round-up, but I decided I want to bring them back by rounding up my favorites for the year! What were your favorites this year?

Beauty

My favorite beauty item this year has been the L’Oréal Telescopic Mascara. I have exclusively used this product since the end of December 2019, and I feel confident saying that it is my all-time favorite mascara. The thinner wand is perfect for getting every lash coated and adds length and volume.

Fashion

I don’t think I have a favorite piece of clothing from 2020, however, I do have a new favorite store to shop at. Since I am really short, I have always struggled finding clothes that fit me correctly and I tend to stick to the same two stores because I know they fit. This year, I tried out a new store that I absolutely love: Pink Lily Boutique. The clothes are adorable and the sizing never was an issue for me!

Shows

I have watched countless shows this year, so picking one is very difficult! I would say though, that my favorite show for 2020 is Netflix’s Outer Banks. It was a super fun, adventurous show that was perfect for 2020. Some honorable mentions are: Disney Plus’ On Pointe and Netflix’s Ozark.

Music

In my opinion, this year has given us some truly exceptional music! While I absolutely loved Ariana Grande’s Positions album, and cried listening to it for the first time, it wasn't my absolute favorite album of the year. CALM by 5 Seconds of Summer was truly a perfect album that showcased their talent and was filled with a wide variety of music.

Books

I have read so many books this year, thanks to all of my newfound free time. I read the Grishaverse books by Leigh Bardugo, and fell in love with them! The Shadow and Bone trilogy, Six of Crows duology, and King of Scars were great books that transported me to a new world and immediately drew me in. Another great book I read was House of Earth and Blood (Crescent City) by Sarah J. Maas!
