My Top 5 Book Series

I have always loved to read! Ever since I read the Percy Jackson series in 3rd grade, reading has been a favorite pass time of mine. Here are 5 series that have made me turn page after page!

Throne of Glass

I love nearly all fantasy novels, but this series takes the cake! Sarah Maas creates such incredible characters and an amazing story line that I fully delved into. The series is composed of 8 books (one being a prequal novella), and each is as spectacular as the last! *this book contains explicit content*

A Court of Thorns and Roses

This is another series written by Sarah Maas, and it’s as incredible as its predecessor! This is yet another fantasy novel series, with 3 novels and 1 novella, filled with adventure and romance. While this series is shorter than Throne of Glass, the story is gripping and becomes an instant page turner. *this book contains explicit content*

The Folk of the Air

This trilogy by Holly Black is an exciting young adult series with twists at every turn. While it is another fantasy novel, it is definitely worth the read! This is a great story about fighting for your dreams and learning what it takes to have it all. *this book contains explicit content*

The Selection

This series was one of my all-time favorite in high school, and it still is to this day! Kiera Cass’ work is a combination of the Hunger Games and The Bachelor, with both dystopian adventure and a great love story. There is the original Selection trilogy as well as 2 sequal novels!

Percy Jackson and the Olympians

While I may be a college student, I would be lying if I did not include this series on my list of favorites. This series is what introduced me to reading and how wonderful it can be, and now at the age of 20 I still am beyond grateful for the journey these books took me on.
